today is off to a better start than the last, but i do feel a little overwhelmed by my massive to do list. as i mentioned earlier in the week, i’m off to a girls weekend in atlanta thursday afternoon and am scrambling to get things done before then!
my morning started off with a 3 mile run (slowly but surely it’s getting easier!) and a 20 minute walk with matty and the dogs.
i packed matt’s lunch, fed him breakfast, and sent him on his way before hunkering down on my inbox with a warm cup of coffee.
breakfast came a short while later when i welcomed back a favorite cereal that has been absent from my pantry for far too long.
peanut butter puffins! in all honestly, i had to take a reprieve from these delicious pillows of goodness because once the box opened, my hand would not stay out. i spotted my long lost cereal at TJ’s yesterday and committed decided to test out my will power.
this morning i portioned out a double serving of puffins with 1 cup of uber-creamy 2% fage (never will i go back to 0%) + half a cup of pumpkin puree. a dash of cinnamon finished out this protein packed breakfast.
on the agenda today:
- conference call (x2)
- yummy lunch recipe (to be blogged tonight!)
- prep guest post for one of my favorite
- errands (cost plus world market, post office + bank)
- 6 p.m. yoga class
here we go. wheeee!
